Years of prototyping and hands-on testing (eg; walks!) plus countless different designs, and materials, were assessed before landing on our current design.

Utilizing ultra high tensile strength poly-core rope originally meant for the harsh marine environment of open-ocean sailing, (think belting sun, salt water, howling winds) this rope is the perfect material for everything your daily walk can throw at it. Moisture wicking and abrasion resistant, this rope has a tension resistance of over 900+kgs. We use aircraft grade aluminium and clamp-connect the leash loops with over 480kgs of pressure, ensuring a never-slip hold. Connecting your leash to your pup is a solid stainless trigger clip, which has been chosen specifically as the black develops a nice patina over time, adding character to your leash after years and years of loving use.
